Our home has been soo cosy this Christmas! I never knew that a working fireplace was the one thing I didn’t have in my life but absolutely needed, it brings such good Christmas vibes! This is actually the first Christmas tree we have put up in our new home, even though were in the house last Christmas too. We hadn’t started renovating our home at that point, and it was just a dreary and sad space, so we spent as much time as possible outside of the house and just really didn’t see any point in putting up a tree as a result. So it was extra cool to decorate for Christmas this year! I didn’t do anything too over-the-top, but I’m happy with the way it turned out.

I put gold and white decorations on the Christmas tree, and topped it with a gorgeous white star from Folded Home. For the mantel, I created a bespoke garland by throwing together an inexpensive garland from Ebay, another from TK Maxx and adding some artificial roses from Ikea.

In the dining room I again mixed garlands from Ebay and TK Maxx and laid them across the dining table with a table runner underneath, which I got from Ikea. The gold and black candle holders are gorgeous, and so well made! Especially considering that they were a few quid each. I got the black ones from an online shop called Clas Ohlson, and the brass ones are from Ebay.

It’s Christmas Eve and I’m all tucked up on the sofa with my husband and family watching movies and eating LOTS of chocolate. So I’ll get back to my gruelling schedule, and I wish you a very merry Christmas indeed with the ones you love!
